Wanafunzi 7,586 wachagulliwa kujiunga na kidato cha tano awamu ya pili

Minister of State Office of the President Regional Administration and Local Government Hon. Selemani Jafo said that 7,586 out of 8,603 students who missed out on the first phase were selected to join Form Five in the second phase. 
Announcing the results of the election for students to join Form Five in the second phase today, Minister Jafo said among the selected students who are 88.18 percent of those who missed the first phase were 1,109 girls and 6,477 boys. 

Minister Jafo said 355 students, 254 boys and 101 girls, have been transferred from various colleges to join Form Five. He said among the selected students, 615 students were assigned to science and mathematics subjects and 6,971 students were assigned to art and business subjects. 


"Students who have missed opportunities to join Form Five courses due to lack of specific qualifications are advised to apply for study places at NACTE-managed colleges." He stressed Minister Jafo In addition, Minister Jafo has asked students selected to join the fifth form studies in the second phase to ensure they arrive at school from September 6 to 20 this year where the student who fails will have lost his place.
