Nobody knows about these
What the priest hears,
What he sees,
The secrets he must keep,
The temptations he meets,
The tears he sheds,
The grief he endures,
The loneliness he manages,
The bitterness he feels,
the lies hatched against him by some of the people he serves!
How he welcomes those who pretend to love him but who destroy him behind him.
How he tries to live more than a human,
The lack he suffers,
The discrimination to which he should not react,
The accusations to which he must say nothing,
the expectations he strives to face,
Even a fellow priest does not know what the other is going through.
What he sees,

He is alive for God and yet he lives for us!
The priest and the priesthood are what no one can fully understand! The priesthood is "a mystery"! The priest is also a mystery!
A mystery is an incomprehensible intelligibility!

So all you can do for him is pray for him.
A day should not go by without a break in the void for him! Wish him well and try to understand him! At least make him happy, because an unhappy priest is a disaster for the Church of God!
